The standard deep drilling machine is characterized by its simple, robust and compact design. Here we use a modular system. A high drive power with corresponding torque as well as a wide speed range guarantee an optimal utilization of the machine capacity.

In order to meet the current market and customer requirements, our machine concepts are constantly being improved. Our dedication has helped us to develop this 4-axis CNC deep drilling centre, which, with additional equipment, is suitable for a wide range of machining operations, depending on the specic requirements. Our aim was to meet the special requirements in the field of deep drilling/precision drilling.

MACHINE CONCEPT

BASE: Welded, torsion-resistant box-type bed with circumferential oil duct and precision machined guideways.

WORKTABLE: Especially cast tabletop with machine specic T grooves. Center groove precision machined to align with machine axis.

SPINDLE UNIT: Designed as spindle blocks with lifetime grease lubrication. ZF planet gears permanently bolted to the motor ange for greater RPM range. Poly V-drive belts, front bearings with sensor for tool breakage.

FEED: Innitely variable, maintenance-free servo motors driving tempered and precision machined ball-circulating screws.

GUIDEWAY SYSTEM: Linear roller guides with carriages.

Our special deep drilling machines are individually designed to meet the requirements of the customer. The machines offer optimal cutting performance and drilling quality while maintaining diameter, surface and shape tolerances. The serial production requires custom machines, also in multi-spindle design, with equipment for automatic operation and workpiece change to reduce non-productive time.
